Wired Perimeter Protection

SPI - Section Perimeter Beams
sThe SPI system is a sectionable infrared beam system that goes around your property following its contour and corners.

The two-wire system supplies power to the units as well data communicating their status back to the control unit.
Each section is programmed with a zone number to identify which zone has been trigger at the control panel. You may also turn on or off individual sectors as required from the KeyPad.

Each section has its own individual selectable sensitivity (break detection time) from 0.3 to 10 seconds.

Multiple or single activations can be programmed on each sector too.

MASTER UNIT
The SPI system has a master unit used to interface to any alarm panel, providing an output for each sector should it be triggered. Sensitivity is still configurable in this configuration.

ADD PASSIVE INFRARED DETECTOR.
The detector may be used as a zone on its’ own, or in conjunction with the beams to offer a double trigger condition to eliminate false alarms. That is, the passive and beam must be triggered in order for an alarm to be raised.

SILENTRON

The Silentron is an Outdoor Dual Technology Detec

tor which maximizes movement detection reliability by  combining two independent technologies: Passive Infra-Red and Microwave.
Initial detection is performed by the P.I.R detector which activates the microwave for confirmation of possible intrusion.
Pet Immune As seen in the drawing the Silentron needs to be mounted at the height of 1.5 meters to avoid detection of pets
Wireless The Silentron is compatible with the four channel receiver on 433Mhz and has a range up to 200m depending on the terrain.

Battery Life
The Silentron is powered by three 1.5v AA batteries giving it  an approximate working life of 2 Years.

Battery low indication is given by the detector and on

the receiver.

As shown in the diagrams there are 2 models available.
The 5514
Dual Technology Standard with a detection range of 12m
The 5512
Dual Technology Long Range detection with narrow beam up to 22m with side detection up to 10m
