FTX UNIVERSAL BASE STATION

UHF + VHF + GSM + Telephone

   Monitor all with one basestation

s

The Universal Base Station is the latest innovation in the world of monitoring. It is possible to add up to 3 radio receivers, 4 telephone communicators and GSM all in one unit with a single output to a computer running monitoring software. The base station is equipped with a USB and serial port for backwards compatibility.

Each of the 3 radios can be on different frequencies all working seamlessly together. The radios are able to receive the FTX transmission protocol as well as the  standard DTMF  protocol for backwards compatibility.
Individual audio squelch is available for each radio should it be required to listen to transmissions
The housing contains two 7A/h batteries to achieve extended backup periods.
Scrollback of the last 20 alarms accessible via the push buttons
The Universal Base station is either freestanding or 19” rack mountable to allow for neat and quick installation.
Efficient switchmode power supply allows for cool operation
Indication of battery low and mains fail via onboard buzzer and output to monitoring software

MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
It is possible to add additional radios  (up to a total of 3) should it be required at a later stage
Should the radio receiver be damaged by a lightning surge, the base station’s modular construction allows for a quick change of the receiver. Therefore for redundancy only spare radios need to be kept, not entire base stations for each frequency.

MULTIBASE BASESTATION

1With the MAMI Base Station you are able to monitor alarms via radio and telephone (MAMI, Contact ID and  SESCOA formats) with a complete range of products, for various types of applications, for example: alarm control panels, medical emergency, fire monitoring, guard patrol, shopping centres, or panic button systems and event monitoring. The base stations may be fitted with either a UHF or VHF radio.

Typically the base station is connected to a computer running control room monitoring software, however the base station may be used as a standalone and have messages displayed in English on the display
