Towers and Masts

Guyed lattice masts

Made with 42,9mm x 2,5mm S355 High tensile Tubes & 10mm roundbar for the lattice works on the medium duty towers. 12mm roundbar is used on the heavy duty towers. All the flanges used to bolt the 3m sections together is laser cut and is bolted together with 9 x M12 grade 8,8 high tensile bolts per 3m section.

Structure is hot-dip Galvanized to international standards, no paint is needed as a protection against the elements but can be added if needed (Red/Orange & White to aviation specifications). We can supply and install Aircraft warning lights to the tower on request.

Delmac can also supply & install Earth mat cable & spikes as a down conductor on request.

Engineered designed from 6m - 45m with a 300kg top load. This tower is free standing up to 15m with a 300kg top load and a 150mm deflection.

From 18m up galvanized steel guy ropes is used. This design can handle loads up to 3m2, and can handle wind speeds up to 40m/s.

Self Support Lattice towers

Towers is made with 60,3mm x 2,5mm S355 High tensile Tubes with 32mm x 2,5mm S355 tubes for the brazing works on the medium duty towers. 60.3mm x 4mm S355 High tensile is used with 38.1mm x 2.5mm S355 High tensile on the heavy duty towers. Flanges is laser cut using 16mm steel bolted together with 3 x 20mm grade 8,8 high tensile bolts per flange.

The structure is hot dip galvanized to International standards, no paint is needed as a protection against the elements but can be added if needed (Red/Orange & White to aviation specifications.)

Delmac can supply and install aircraft warning lights on request. Earth mat cable & Spikes can also be supplied & installed by Delmac on request. 

Engineered designed from 12m - 25m This is a free standing structure. This tower can handle loads up to 2m2, with a wind speed of 40m/s.

Mobile Telescopic Towers

Telescopic tower is made with S355 high tensile tubes. Available in heights from 11m up to a max of 24m. This structure can be supplied with or without a trailer and Generator. The generator is mainly used for powering the equipment on the tower like Radio communication, CCTV cameras, Lighting or any other communication equipment.

The tower itself needs only a 12v power supply like a car battery to extend the tower to the designed height. This is useful in remote areas where it is difficult to get access to 220v. The tower uses 2 x 12v winches to tilt and erect the structure.

The trailer has its own outriggers and is non-ground penetrating. Two persons can erect this tower in 4 - 6 minutes to its designed height and it's ready for use.

 From 11m up to 24m. Complete unit on trailer. Can be towed by LDV. Approximate weight of a 24m unit is 750kg for the tower only.

This unit can handle loads of 2m2 and can handle winds of 30m/s.

The trailer has 4 to 6 outriggers depending on the tower height, and is non-ground penetrating.

Limit switch is added to cut the power when the tower reaches it's designed height.

Mechanical safety catch is standard between the first and second section of the tower for added safety.
